Our Little Cowboy

I decided it was finally time to devote an entire blog to my pregnancy and the craziness that has ensued since I discovered I had a bun in the oven! I'm 20 weeks along now. I look back at my first pregnancy photos and giggle at how flat my tummy still was! Now I'm definitely sporting a decent-sized bump, and hiding my pregnancy has drifted into the realm of impossibility. Bring on the maternity fashion!

We went in at 14 weeks and learned (okay, somewhat doubtfully) that we were going to have a son! Well, I patiently waited four more weeks - I promise I only purchased one baby boy outfit - before we got the 100% confirmation that our bouncing little bean was indeed a bouncing little boy. We were thrilled because I had secretly been praying for my husband Taylor to have a son. I can't wait to see the two of them together. I am sure I will be cleaning the house constantly! And I'm pretty much prepared to buy new furniture in about 5 years...I'm thinking leather everything. I've got to be able to wipe it clean.

Now I'm in major nesting mode! I found myself on my hands and knees the other day scrubbing the bathroom floor. I'm repainting a lot of our house and trying to get as much done as possible before those inevitable sleepless nights arrive.

But until then, let the journey continue. Baby Coleman has finally started kicking around in there. In fact, Taylor got to feel a strong kick a couple of days ago. It's the most amazing thing. I've been so blessed to be able to experience it.
